What Folks are Saying!

We visited five restaurants. The restaurant selection was broad -- Italian/American, Greek, pastry, Italian, and Japanese. All the proffered food and drink was first rate and served artistically. Servings were substantial; much more than "tastes". I could not eat them all. Two of the head chefs came out and spent time with us talking about themselves and the restaurant. Our guide Bethany was vivacious and personable, very knowledgeable, and helpful. Since we were celebrating our Anniversary, she arranged for a candle on one of our deserts. There was some walking, around two miles, but it was flat, the neighborhoods had wonderful character with many shade trees, and Bethany kept us entertained with Sacramento history and restaurant information as we moved around. We will be taking other Local Roots Food Tours.
