The Sacramento Ronald McDonald House has served approximately 10,000 families since opening its doors in 1998. Our mission is to help children and their families by providing an atmosphere where families can rest, reflect, and find mutual support from other families facing similar struggles.
This home-away-from-home provides affordable, temporary housing to families who must travel to the Sacramento-area to receive medical treatment for their seriously ill or injured child at any of the area hospitals.

Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake
