Murphys Food & Wine Walking Tour

Come enjoy the finest wine and food in gorgeous Murphys, CA! Aptly named “Queen of the Sierras”, and one of Sunset magazine’s Top Ten Coolest Small Towns, Murphys is a superb destination for food and wine tasting, and this tour shows you the best of both worlds. Our 3.5 hour tour includes up to 9 stops at the best restaurants shops and wine tasting rooms. Tours offered on Fridays and Saturdays; 11:15am.  Private tour groups offered throughout the week.

Gourmet on ‘K’ Culinary Walking Tour

Gourmet on ‘K’ Culinary Walking Tour is everything gourmet along one of Sacramento’s most historical areas.  Tour participants will be guided down Sacramento’s original main street exploring the beautiful architecture with many stories dating back to the mid 1800?s.

Sacramento has recently been named the “Farm to Fork Capital of the Nation” by Mayor Kevin Johnson.  K Street seeing an urban revitalization with more and more empty storefronts becoming filled with excellent foodie establishments along with some local dive bars that boast locally produced ingredients on their menus.  Join our local culinary concierge as they share with their participants what’s “hot” on local farm to table cuisine by experiencing up to 6 different stops along “Downtown on Kay”.  Tours launch Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; 1:30pm

Origins of Sacramento Food & Cultural Tour

Our three in a half hour Origins of Sacramento Food & Cultural Walking Tour finds us meandering through two very historical but popular neighborhoods; Midtown’s Sutter District and East Sacramento’s Fabulous Forties.  Great history, landmarks dating back to the 1800′s and food tastings from all around the globe!

Stroll under tree-lined streets while you explore off the beaten path eateries.  Meet the talented and passionate chefs while sampling their creations….a foodie’s dream come true! Come taste hidden gem eateries and well known local hang outs.  Tours offered Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays; 10:15am and Sundays 1:15pm

Sierra Foothills Farm & Wine Tour

This driving tour goes directly to the source of our fresh local ingredients in Northern California.  We take tour participants on a planned farm and wine tour route that gets up close and personal with local farmers and vintners.  Take a step back in time to learn the stories and “how to’s” in farming and wine making.

Our tour is a 4 hour long driven tour route with a catered lunch, shopping and exploring the hills of Placer County.  Each participant will receive their own personal reusable Local Roots Food & Farm Tours market bag along with the opportunity to bring home fresh fruits, produce, wines and whatever else we find in our hidden gem stops.   Bus tours offered Saturdays and Sundays; 10:30am or by private booking.
