What Folks are Saying!

My favorite time to visit the foothills is the season of fall. It's worth the trip to Nevada City just to see the beautiful colors of the trees changing. We usually do a dinner or a play and always have a good time in Nevada City. This year we wanted to try something different so I did some Google searches and found Local Roots Food Tours. The tour was a blast! A walking tour with tastings at seven local eateries. The tour started at the National Hotel and ended in a cave at the Stonehouse restaurant. Our guide told fantastic gold rush history stories as we walked through town. The Nevada City vibe is amazing and the tour is a fun way to feel the spirit of the gold rush. I highly recommend this tour.
